1. Who provides ProfMe

ProfMe is developed and published by ArchByte Studio. ArchByte Studio is the trade name of Satish Rajnale, an individual sole proprietor in India, and is not a separate legal person. In these Terms, “ArchByte Studio,” “ProfMe,” “we,” and “us” refer to that sole-proprietor business as the context requires.

2. Scope and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of the ProfMe desktop application, website, account, and related services. By creating an account or using a feature that requires these Terms, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into the agreement. If you use ProfMe for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so; the organisation is responsible for its users and workspace inputs.

ProfMe helps you capture or import professional-workspace material, create transcripts and AI-generated summaries or structured professional memory, and retrieve that information. Outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. You remain responsible for checking them and making decisions. ProfMe is not legal, medical, financial, employment, or other professional advice and is not an emergency service.

3. Account and acceptable use

Keep account credentials secure, provide accurate account information, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. You may not use ProfMe unlawfully, infringe another person’s rights, interfere with its operation or security, probe accounts or systems without authority, or submit malicious code. We may suspend access where reasonably needed to address a security, legal, or material service risk and will provide notice where reasonably practicable.

4. Your content and authority to provide it

You retain rights you hold in content you submit or create. You grant ArchByte Studio a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit, display, and transform that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve ProfMe as described in the Privacy Policy and your settings. This licence ends when the content is deleted from active service, subject to documented retention exceptions, backups, and provider copies described in the Privacy Policy.

Before recording, importing, transcribing, or sharing information about another person, you must have the rights, notices, permissions, and consents required by applicable law, workplace policy, and your agreements. ProfMe does not automatically notify meeting participants or obtain their consent. Do not use ProfMe to collect information you are not authorised to handle.

5. AI and connected services

ProfMe may send relevant content to third-party cloud, speech, or AI providers to perform the feature you request. The Privacy Policy and AI & Recording Notice describe the provider categories and purposes; the providers used can vary by feature and configuration. Third-party services may have their own terms and availability. AI output requires human review and may contain errors. You must not treat it as a verified transcript or factual determination without checking it.

6. Plans, payments, cancellation, and refunds

ProfMe may offer Free and Pro beta plans. The landing page has listed reference prices of USD 15 monthly and USD 120 annually; the current price, currency, billing interval, taxes, renewal terms, cancellation method, refund conditions, and seller identity must be reviewed in checkout and the order confirmation before purchase. Paddle provides checkout and payment services and may act as Merchant of Record or reseller where checkout and the order confirmation identify it as such. The actual production seller arrangement and catalog have not been verified for this draft. A subscription renews for the interval disclosed at checkout unless canceled as described there. For cancellation or refund requests, use the method identified at checkout or contact support@profme.in. Mandatory consumer rights prevail. Paid checkout is available only if ProfMe enables it.

7. Availability and changes

We may change or discontinue features. We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice of material changes where practicable. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may terminate or restrict access for material breach, legal requirement, or a material risk to users or the service. You may stop using ProfMe and request account deletion through account settings or the verified support contact. Deletion is processed asynchronously and is subject to the exceptions in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ProfMe is provided on an “as available” basis, without warranties that the service or AI outputs will be uninterrupted, accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, ArchByte Studio will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of ProfMe. Nothing in these Terms limits liability, remedies, or consumer rights that applicable law does not permit the parties to limit or exclude.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable conflict-of-law rules and mandatory consumer protections. Disputes may be brought before courts or consumer forums with jurisdiction under applicable law; nothing here limits a consumer's statutory forum rights.

10. Policies, acceptance, and contact

The Privacy Policy, AI & Recording Notice, and Security Overview form part of the information governing use of the relevant features. Where the app requires acceptance, you must affirmatively accept the displayed version before using the applicable product features. A material revision may require acceptance again. The system records the policy version and acceptance event.

For complaints under applicable consumer/e-commerce rules, contact Satish Rajnale, Grievance Officer, at support@profme.in. Complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and redressed within one month where those rules apply; mandatory statutory timelines and remedies prevail. General support: support@profme.in.
