1. Operator and features

ProfMe is developed and published by ArchByte Studio. ArchByte Studio is the trade name of Satish Rajnale, an individual sole proprietor in India, not a separate legal person. Principal business address: Kalewadi, Pimpri, Pune 411017, India. When you choose capture, import, transcription, summarisation, extraction, or related memory features, ProfMe may process audio, screen-capture material, transcript text, and related professional context to provide the requested result.

2. Recording is user initiated

ProfMe does not automatically notify meeting participants, announce that recording has started to them, or obtain their consent. Before starting capture, you are responsible for telling participants and obtaining any consent, permission, workplace approval, or other authority required by applicable law and your circumstances. The app’s confirmation checkbox records only your own attestation at that moment; it is not a participant consent record and does not prove that notice was given. Do not record if you cannot satisfy those requirements. Stop capture if consent is withdrawn or you lose authority to continue.

3. AI and speech processing

Depending on the feature and configuration, ProfMe may send audio or text to Google Gemini or OpenAI for AI processing and to Deepgram where enabled for speech recognition. Google Cloud may host or store service data. The categories of content sent vary by feature and provider configuration. Provider settings, subprocessors, retention, and processing regions vary and are governed by applicable provider terms. Information may be processed outside India; ProfMe does not promise India-only processing or zero retention.

AI output can omit, misattribute, or invent details. Check names, quotations, commitments, dates, and conclusions against the original source before relying on them. ProfMe output is not professional advice or an official record unless independently checked and adopted by you.

4. Your responsibilities and controls

Use capture only for a lawful purpose and only with authority to process the material. Avoid capturing unrelated sensitive information. Use available stop, delete, local-retention, export, and account-deletion controls. Deletion from ProfMe may not immediately delete provider copies, backups, or records retained under the Privacy Policy’s exceptions. Do not submit another person’s information if you lack authority.
